This is peaceful trails with pine forests, terraced fields and traditional villages. The effort required is soft, but the experience is immersive. So, take breaks to enjoy the beauty around you. The trail will also introduce you to the locals and the simplicity of village life. 

You will reach Balthali after 3-4 hours of easy trekking. Balthali is an attractive hilltop town, untouched by the crowd. Check into the Balthali Village Resort or a boutique eco-retreat. Enjoy the amazing views of the distant Himals during the day and a freshly prepared nutritious dinner with locally available ingredients at night.

After yoga and breakfast, you will travel to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park to start a nature trek in its old forests. A short drive (40–60 min) will take you to the entry gate of the National Park. 

The Shivapuri National Park is home to green vegetation, quiet streams and sacred places used by monks and ascetics for centuries. Trekking here feels like embracing the natural beauty. Begin a short mindful hike to Nagi Gompa. It is a beautiful Buddhist monastery located inside the forest. You can also meditate and absorb the serene spirit.

Later, check into the Kopan Monastery Guest House or a boutique eco-retreat near Shivapuri.
