07:00 AM – Departure from Kathmandu

Depart from Kathmandu in the early morning, around 7:00 AM. Travel by private vehicle or bus, enjoying the scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway, which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

10:30 AM – Arrival at Charaudi/Majhimtar

Arrive at the rafting starting point, either Charaudi or Majhimtar, depending on the water levels and season. Charaudi is the more common starting point, about 85 km from Kathmandu.

10:45 AM – Preparation and Safety Briefing

Meet the rafting guides who will provide a safety briefing and instructions on paddling techniques. You will be equipped with rafting gear, including life jackets, helmets and paddles.

11:00 AM – Start Rafting

Begin the rafting adventure on the Trishuli River. The first part of the journey includes relatively calm waters, allowing you to get comfortable with paddling and the guide's commands.

11:30 AM – Encountering Rapids

03:30 PM – Arrival at Kurnighat

Reach the take-out point at Kurnighat, near the River Fun Beach Resort. Here, you can change into dry clothes and freshen up. The resort facilities might be available for use, depending on the package.

04:00 PM – Departure to Kathmandu or Pokhara

Board the vehicle for the return journey. You can either head back to Kathmandu or continue to Pokhara if you have further travel plans. The drive back to Kathmandu takes about 3 to 4 hours.

07:30 PM – Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive back in Kathmandu in the evening, marking the end of a thrilling and memorable day of rafting on the Trishuli River.
