Additionally, we will be at your disposal to assist with any trekking gear requirements and guide you through the stores in Thamel where you can acquire them. Once the necessary preparations are complete, we will embark on a delightful sightseeing tour encompassing Kathmandu Durbar Square and Thamel. If time permits, we may even have the opportunity to visit the renowned Pashupatinath Temple and witness the mesmerizing aarati ceremony.

There are two available modes of transportation to travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The first option is to take a road trip, covering a distance of 200 kilometers, which typically takes around 7 to 8 hours. During this journey, you will pass through various towns such as Malekhu, Mailung, and Bimal Nagar. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the scenic beauty of the Trisuli River, which flows swiftly. Alternatively, you can choose to travel by air, which offers a quicker and time-saving option. The flight from Tribhuvan International Airport to Pokhara Airport usually lasts around 30 minutes.

After savoring our delectable breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive towards Kande, covering a distance of approximately 30 kilometers, which is anticipated to take around one hour. Upon arrival at Kande, we take a brief intermission to revitalize ourselves. Following this rejuvenating break, we prepare ourselves for today's exhilarating hike, embarking on a journey from Kande to Pitum Deurali. This captivating trail is nestled at an elevation of 2100 meters above sea level and is estimated time is approximately 6 hours. The initial phase of the trail entails an ascent, gradually transitioning into a more manageable terrain as we progress, ultimately leading us to Pathana. Continuing along the trail, we encounter a gentle incline that eventually guides us to Deurali, where we will be spending the night.

We embarked on our hike bright and early this morning, fueled by a satisfying breakfast. Our journey begins at Pitum Deurali and leads us to Low Camp, which sits at an elevation of 2660 meters. Anticipated to take around 5 hours, our trek takes us through a dense forest adorned with oak, maple, and rhododendron trees. After approximately 3 hours of hiking, we find ourselves at Forest Camp, positioned southeast of the majestic Annapurna range, offering awe-inspiring views on clear days. Continuing along the trail, the landscape undergoes a captivating transformation, surrounding us with more rhododendron trees and a variety of moss, lichen, and tree fern-covered trees. After an additional 2 hours of trekking, we finally arrive at our destination for the night, Low Camp.

After enjoying a wonderful night at an elevation of 2660m, we are now prepared to proceed towards High Camp, positioned at an elevation of 3550m. Following a satisfying warm breakfast, we commence our trek towards High Camp. After approximately 1 hour of hiking, we arrive at Badal Danda, a location that offers breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhre. Once we pass Badal Danda, the trail continues along the Mardi Himal ridge. After an additional 2 hours of trekking, we finally reached High Camp. This will be our overnight resting place for the day.

At the crack of dawn, long before the sun rises, we commence our expedition towards the Lower Viewpoint of Mardi Himal, positioned at an altitude of 3900m. The path meanders along the ridge, encompassing a few steep sections, yet overall, it does not pose a significant challenge. Our primary aim is to witness the awe-inspiring sunrise spectacle from this vantage point. It is a moment of sheer enchantment as we behold the mountains bathed in the gentle rays of the sun, a sight that truly leaves us breathless. After immersing ourselves in the breathtaking panoramic vistas, we make our way back to High Camp. Here, we take a brief pause before retracing our footsteps towards Badal Danda, following the very same trail that led us up earlier.

After enjoying our breakfast, we embark on our descent towards Sidhing, anticipating a journey of approximately 4 hours. Along the trail, we encounter a fork at Low Camp, where one path leads us directly to Sidhing, while the other guides us back to Pitum Deurali through a different route. Upon reaching Sidhing, we make arrangements for a jeep ride that will transport us to our ultimate destination, Pokhara. This day signifies the culmination of our exhilarating hiking adventure.

Pokhara, a renowned city in Nepal, stands out as a popular destination for various reasons. Despite its altitude of 800m, the city offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Annapurna mountain range, which is just 20 kms away. This proximity to the mountains makes Pokhara an ideal place for sightseeing, with numerous spots to explore. Moreover, the city serves as a hub for adventure enthusiasts, providing a wide range of thrilling activities. The vibrant Phewa Lakeside area is particularly famous for its lively nightlife, boasting an array of pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants, and hotels. After completing a challenging trek, visitors can choose to unwind and rest during the day, and then venture out to experience the vibrant nightlife. Alternatively, they can opt for sightseeing or engage in adrenaline-pumping adventure activities such as paragliding, zip-lining, bungee jumping, hiking, and more.

Upon completion of our breakfast, we will commence our journey back to Kathmandu in the early hours of the morning. As we bid farewell to the majestic Annapurna range, we will cherish the remarkable memories we have created during our trek. The drive back to Kathmandu is estimated to take approximately 7 to 8 hours, allowing us ample time to reflect on the breathtaking landscapes we have witnessed.

In the event that your departure from Nepal is imminent, our dedicated team is available to accompany you to the airport, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey. We understand the importance of a seamless travel experience and are committed to providing you with the necessary support and assistance until your departure.
